Two USDA grant and loan programs available to aquaculture producers you may be interested in. Both are currently accepting applications now/soon and due in November.

Applications for Rural Energy for America Program Renewable Energy Systems & Energy Efficiency Improvement Guaranteed Loans & Grants of less than $20,000 are being accepted by USDA. The program provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements. Agricultural producers may also apply for new energy efficient equipment and new system loans for agricultural production and processing.
The application cutoff date for Fiscal Year 2022 REAP funds is November 1, 2021.

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has announced the Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program (PRS). USDA's Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program provides approximately $650 million in funding to help eligible small producers and businesses recover costs incurred by responding to the pandemic, including for measures to protect workers from COVID-19. Applications open on September 23 and close on November 8 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
