Hello all, please see the posting below and share widely with any potentially interested parties.

LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY LOOKING TO HIRE ASST. PROFESSOR OF AQUACULTURE

Lake Superior State University is situated in the heart of the Great Lakes in beautiful Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. LSSU is known for it’s hands on training it provides to students in aquaculture and their students who come out of their aquaculture and fisheries programs are widely sought after by both public hatcheries and private aquaculture companies. Currently LSSU is building a multimillion dollar research facility that will include the capacity to house a variety of aquaculture research in recirculating systems and in cooperation with the universities existing flow through Atlantic Salmon hatchery. A student aquaculture club, an aquaponics learning lab, and several nearby aquaculture facilities make the university well placed to continue to grow as a leader in aquaculture research.

posted the Asst. Professor of Aquaculture position that will be a 75/25 split with CFRE and the School of Natural Resources and Environment and will be a key position to ensure that we can build on our success in fish culture training and production for years to come.

Please circulate through your networks as well so we can get a strong applicant pool and add another great team member!
