Dear all,

Some of you have noticed (so I thought I should announce!) that my co-edited book collection Virginia Woolf: Profession and Performance is now available for pre-order from Liverpool UP (partner/distributor for Clemson UP). Virginia Woolf: Profession and Performance is a peer-reviewed book collection that, in spirit, stands as the Selected Papers for the 30th Annual International Conference on Virginia Woolf (the theme of which was also “Profession and Performance”). The volume presents 11 full-length chapters—all developed from presentations at that conference in the summer of 2021.

The price tag is hefty, but if you’d like to learn a bit about the volume or purchase a copy at 20% discount, then follow these links: [Liverpool UP LINK<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.liverpooluniversitypress.co.uk/doi/book/10.3828/9781638041627__;!!KGKeukY!3DGfGciPU_EaZefUs7xhQmzqKf-qq33q780jyBP_iMXfvn-cHYOHkpdSug7c5aUHnVIbnnEmJMK7Qkqj0FGlG02q1H-kfg$ >]; [Clemson UP LINK<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://libraries.clemson.edu/press/books/virginia-woolf/__;!!KGKeukY!3DGfGciPU_EaZefUs7xhQmzqKf-qq33q780jyBP_iMXfvn-cHYOHkpdSug7c5aUHnVIbnnEmJMK7Qkqj0FGlG018jVyeYA$ >]. If you in a position to request that a university library order a copy, please do so! Encourage your library to consider subscribing to JSTOR’s Path to Open program as well [LINK<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://about.jstor.org/path-to-open/__;!!KGKeukY!3DGfGciPU_EaZefUs7xhQmzqKf-qq33q780jyBP_iMXfvn-cHYOHkpdSug7c5aUHnVIbnnEmJMK7Qkqj0FGlG02zSxjJJQ$ >]. Virginia Woolf: Profession and Performance is a Path to Open book and will be available digitally to institutional PTO subscribers.

Working on this volume with my co-editor Taya Sazama has been a (long) labor of love, and I hope folks enjoy/learn from its contribution to feminist modernist studies. So many thanks to our brilliant contributors: Stella Deen, Annalisa Federici, Diane Gillespie, Joyce E. Kelley, Ane Thon Knutsen, M. Giulia Laddago, Francesca Mancino, Eleanor McNees, Sarah Schwartz, Amy C. Smith, and Pamela Weidman.

All best,
Ben Hagen
