Dear Stephen,

Thank you for letting us know about Stuart’s death - a very sad loss.

Stuart’s encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Woolf was legendary and his
terrier-like tenacity to find and share the exact detail, quotation and
point of reference was a quality I admired and benefitted from many times.
His determination to complete his last project with you is testimony to his
passionate commitment and to his courage.

He will be very much missed.
