I'm so sorry to hear the news that Emily Dalgarno has passed. What a
singular person she was. Thank you, Jeanne, for letting us know, and Vara,
for asking us to share memories.
I have so many fond reminiscences of hearing her talk about Derrida and
philosophy, Lacan and psychoanalysis, the Greeks and so much more. Her
books are among those I return to again and again for their impeccable
research and insights. Thankfully, she left us with so much of what she
valued, in her work.
