I thought I shall sleep forever, but your email got me up on my feet.So instead of going for a morning run I decided to do some morning research. This is what I have found, thanks to Paula Maggio’s Blogging Woolf:

If you can’t find the book by Maureen Adams do let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Dear Woolfians,

I hope this finds you all well this spring. I'm writing to ask if anyone might possibly be able to direct me to any sources which provide dates for when the Woolfs, the Bells & co. had which dogs? I've been tracing as much as I can with the Diary and Letters, but still have some gaps!

I'd be immensely grateful for any leads, but I am particularly looking to trace dates for Clinker, the Bells' dog. There are NPG / Tate photographs online dating from the late 1920s but it would be wonderful to know when the Bells got her.

With best wishes and warm thanks,

Ellie Mitchell
