Dear Woolfian friends,

this year I will take on the mantle of the carpooling done so many times by our lovely Elisa Sparks. Because tickets were REALLY expensive from Brazil, Maria and I (with newcomer Nicea, another Brazilian Woolfian you’ll have the pleasure of meeting) decided to drive from LAX rather than take another flight into the local airport in Fresno. We are sharing the cost of renting (and keeping) the car between us and we can take others who may also be interested in this scheme. We plan on leaving LAX on June 4th, at around 2pm, after Maria arrives and goes through immigration etc. We’d be willing to way a little longer for other flights but not much longer because it’s a longish drive and LA traffic is a nightmare, I’m told. 

We are driving back to LAX on the 10th. Ashley told us we need to check out by 10am but the car only needs to be returned by 9pm (my own flight leaves at 2am on the 11th). 

We have booked a regular car and can currently fit just one additional person each way, but if others want in we can do the full Elisa and get a minivan! So if you’re interested, let us know.

Excited to see you so many of you, it’s going to be the highlight of a very hard year.
