Hello Everyone,

As part of the Modernist Studies Association’s online programming, “On or About 2020,”
I curated an exhibition of digital projects in modernist studies that you can
view here: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://msaexhibits.medium.com/__;!!KGKeukY!ih3LpI7IdlLfXahL-sBXxvv-ZKSETRPtyJ1vGoV4EEWPF9zZt1hpTf10KVrLO0D4-0M$ <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://msaexhibits.medium.com/__;!!KGKeukY!ih3LpI7IdlLfXahL-sBXxvv-ZKSETRPtyJ1vGoV4EEWPF9zZt1hpTf10KVrLO0D4-0M$ >.

The projects are wide ranging and of interest to Woolf Scholars, particularly the Modernist Archives Publishing Project,
the Orlando Project, New Modernist Editing (which features an edition of a Woolf story), and others.

It was also an honor to display a detail from Suzanne Bellamy’s Woolf Triptych in the introductory
post.

All best wishes and take care,

Amanda

In December, there will also be a virtual event with the director of the series, the soprano, and me, talking about Woolf’s diaries. The performance comes with a program containing an essay by me and copies of Woolf’s diary pages from the Berg.

What can we find in common with those of distant pasts who have sought solace and inspiration in their diaries? In The Beauty That Still Remains: Diaries in Song, we will present song cycles linked by their use of the diary as libretto. Audience members will receive a keepsake diary in the mail containing the handwritten libretto, access codes to the pre-recorded audio performance, invitations to accompanying virtual events, and insights into the people and places depicted within each of these moving song cycles.
