Dear Woolf friends:

I am sending here the call for papers for the symposium on Virginia Woolf that will take place as part of The 16th International Conference of the Brazilian Association of Comparative Literature (ABRALIC). The Symposium Booklet is in Portuguese, so this is a shout out for fellow Woolf scholars in Latin America especially, though we would be glad to receive paper proposals from all corners of the world. Should this interest anyone who cannot read Portuguese, please contact us for more information.

Call for papers:

The 16th International Conference of the Brazilian Association of Comparative Literature (ABRALIC) will take place between 15 and 19 July 2019 at Universidade de Brasília (UNB), Brasilia, Brazil. 

We are glad to announce that there will be a symposium on "Contemporary Readings of Virginia Woolf", which will be coordinated by Brazilian Woolf scholars Davi Pinho, Maria Oliveira and Nicea Nogueira. Paper proposals must be sent through the ABRALIC website (http://www.abralic.org.br/) by 15 March. They can be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish, but most of the papers are very likely to be presented in Portuguese.
