Dear Woolf Scholars, Bloomsbury will release *Conversations with
Biographical Novelists: Truthful Fictions across the Globe* on October
18th. This book contains interviews with many prominent biographical
novelists, including Susan Sellers, author of *Vanessa & Virginia*.
Interviewers in the book also include Monica Latham, who has authored many
groundbreaking works about Woolf and biofiction, as well as Bethany Layne,
who has authored pioneering works about Woolf, Henry James, and biofiction.
There is also an interview with David Ebershoff, whose biographical novel *The
Danish Girl* is working in a similar tradition as Woolf's *Orlando*.

Here is a link to the book:

As many of you know, Woolf and Bloomsbury more generally contributed
significantly to the rise, legitimization, and now dominance of the
biographical novel, and the new interviews clarify the nature of biofiction
and Woolf's role in its development.

Bloomsbury has a promotion, which will give scholars a 35% discount on
*Conversations
with Biographical Novelists* as well as *Truthful Fictions: Conversations
with American Biographical Novelists*. Please find the promotion in
attachment.
