[Vwoolf] Woolf Conference 2018 Registration Now Open!

Dear all,

We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for 'Virginia Woolf, Europe and Peace', the 28th Annual International Conference on Virginia Woolf hosted by the University of Kent: https://kenthospitality.kent.ac.uk/Register/VirginiaWoolf

If you are interested in attending, do sign up soon to take advantage of the early-bird rates that will remain until April 15th (£200 for waged and £180 for unwaged/student). The registration fee covers attendance for the four days of the conference, including lunches, tea/coffee/refreshments, evening receptions, conference packs (with specially designed bag) and two performances: 'The Particle and the Wave' and 'Time Passes: A Lunchtime Polylogue'. In addition to keynote lectures by Claire Davison and Jane Goldman, we'll have a 'virtual keynote' by Rosi Braidotti with respondents including Laura Marcus, Jeff Wallace and Madelyn Detloff. There will also be a plenary dialogue featuring David Ayers and Rachel Potter, and many more fabulous talks, events and readings!

When you register you will see additional options for campus accommodation at either Tyler Court (ensuite) or Rutherford (shared bathroom). For those wishing to stay in Canterbury itself, note that the town centre is within easy reach of the campus (5 minute bus or 20-30 minute walk). We hope you will consider selecting from our optional events when you register: the conference banquet, which will take place at Canterbury's Cathedral Lodge, situated within the beautiful grounds of the Cathedral; the concert, 'Pacifism and Pierrot: Debussy in Bloomsbury'; and the pre-conference trip to Knole and Sissinghurst. Please note there is limited availability for the banquet and pre-conference trip, and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
