Subject: [Vwoolf] Query: Vita Sackville-West
As I've said I'm going to be teaching Virginia Woolf's Orlando, and now I'm wondering which of Sackville-West's books is the best one to read to understand her and Virginia's relationship beyond the obvious Knowles and the Sackvilles, and her doll book, A Note of explanation. I once tried the Edwardians and didn't like it; are there others? I know about her book on Saint Joan of Arc and also her work on 17th century English women diarists and the poetry of landscape and garden.
