One of the articles assures the reader that the film 'isn’t an actual adaptation of her short story'. Now that I'd like to see. I often wonder why we don't hear more readings of the stories on the radio.

I read a review of the film A Ghost Story that seems to indicate that Woolf's "A Haunted House" is a touchstone at the beginning of the film (a book falls open to the opening page of the story). However, I haven't seen it yet - it looks intriguing, given another visual reference is the ghost from Charlie Brown's Halloween special.
