[Vwoolf] Jane Marcus

A very sad loss indeed. Lauren's word, fierce, is apt. She was fierce. And
so very, very generous. And so funny.

She treated me like a colleague from very early on, before I saw myself as
one. Her work and her way of being in the world continue to be an
inspiration to me.

All sympathies to those who knew her well and worked with her more closely.

She *will* live on in her work, as Christine said.
