I reviewed Viviane Forrester's Virginia Woolf: A Portrait for *Open Letters
Monthly <http://www.openlettersmonthly.com/the-whip-descends/>*. It's a
very strange book which I ended up liking more than I expected to. I wonder
what others who've read it thought.
