[Vwoolf] scam - beware

List members seem to have been sent an urgent message from Pat Laurence, 
saying that s/he is stranded in Limassol.

This is a well-known scam. PL's mail has been hacked and the message has 
been sent out by the hacker. If anyone knows an alternative e-mail for 
PL (or a Facebook account) they should contact him/her and ask that the 
e-mail account be closed.

A friend of mine - kind-hearted but gullible - got stung for £1200 ( = 
about 2 thousand dollars) through this scam. Kindheartednesss + naivety 
comes dear!
