Digitization enables us to meet cultural heritage artefacts and narratives in heretofore unimagined media and platforms. Not only written archives, but increasingly also auditory and audiovisual archives become accessible researchers and to non-researchers and new frameworks for interaction arise. The conference addresses the question of how we wish to access and interact with cultural heritage sources in the 21st Century.
LARM Conference will reflect on present transformations of archives, on the rise of audiovisual heritage archives, on methodologies of enriching and researching vast archives, on national media’s role in the shaping of cultural memory, on digitalization and structuring of minor archives, on digitality, access use and reuse of information.
Registration fee: 60 € (reduced price of 30 € for students)
