I keep getting info. sent to me about the publication of the “Charleston Bulletin”. And why not? It’s of considerable interest.

No doubt, you will remember all that publicity about the inclusion of the so-called “newly” discovered essay, “Portrait of a Londoner”, in the Snowbooks edition of “The London Scene” in 2004.

Yet no one seems to care that in each issue of the “Virginia Woolf Bulletin” we print at least one previously unpublished letter by Virginia Woolf. In several issues we’ve printed many unpublished letters, notably in no. 2 (July 1999) , 11 to the Spiras -- no. 15 (Jan 2004), over 40 to Lady Aberconway – no. 28 (May 2008), 10 to Mrs Easdale and 2 to Joan – no. 32 (Sep 2009), 10 to Winifred Holtby. And soon we intend publishing quite a few to Lady Colefax.

We even produced extra copies of no. 15, naively expecting there would be a rush to buy!
