Dear Woolfian,

While cataloguing a little scrap of Hogarth Press ephemera (see below) I'm
reminded to make my annual appeal to members of the list. I'm a rare book
dealer based in the UK and always interested in buying books by Virginia
Woolf, Bloomsbury group writers and Hogarth Press imprints as well as
modernist first editions in general. I don't give appraisals via email but
will respond to any off-list offer of books or ephemera or manuscript
material for sale anywhere. Meanwhile that little piece of Hogarthiana
below:

A printed bifolium advertising flyer, 10x13cm, announcing the first four
titles from the 'cheap uniform edition, of small convenient size of the
works of Virginia Woolf... The Voyage Out, Jacob's Room, Mrs Dalloway, The
Common Reader'. The text includes prices and publication details mixed with
excerpts from reviews and a list of the second four titles in preparation,
to include To the Lighthouse. Near fine in condition with just a little age
toning. The first volume in the Uniform Edition was issued in September
1929 which suggests that this advertisement must date from a few weeks or
months earlier. We can't find any record of this little scrap of
Hogarthiana but likely it exists in one of the major institutional
collections devoted to the press. £75 post free anywhere.

Best,

Christian
