The Taco Landscape of Columbus, Ohio

A Latinx & Food Studies Talk by Andrew Mitchel

PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology at OSU

Thursday, February 6

 2:30 - 3:30 pm

359 Hagerty Hall

Columbus is broadly construed as a ‘new’ destination for Latino/a/x arrivals, but now sustains a diverse, ever-growing presence of this community and their food. Based on ethnographic fieldwork for Andrew Mitchell's dissertation, this talk will explore the foodscape of tacos in Columbus at area restaurants and taco trucks. This event is free and open to the public.
