1) The National Science Foundation has released several revised program
solicitations:

a) *STEM + Computing Partnerships (STEM+C)* (
http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505006):

The STEM+C Partnerships program seeks to significantly enhance the learning
and teaching of science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and
computing by K-12 students and teachers, through research on, and
development of, courses, curriculum, course materials, pedagogies,
instructional strategies, or models that innovatively integrate computing
into one or more STEM disciplines, or integrate STEM content into the
teaching and learning of computing. In addition, STEM+C seeks to build
capacity in K-12 computing education with foundational research and focused
teacher preparation.

The program offers proposers two tracks: (1) Integration of Computing in
STEM Education and (2) Computing Education Knowledge and Capacity Building.
The second track is discipline-specific and may be expanded to include
additional disciplines in future releases of the solicitation.

The actual solicitation hasn't been posted yet, so I don't know the funding
amount. Proposals are due April 14.

b) *Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) in Engineering and Computer
Science* (http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505170):

This program supports active long-term collaborative partnerships between
K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer and Information Science,
and Mathematics (STEM) teachers and community college and university
faculty and students to bring knowledge of engineering or computer and
information science and engineering as well as technological innovation to
pre-college/community college classrooms. The goal of these partnerships is
to enable K-12 STEM teachers and community college faculty to translate
their research experiences and new knowledge gained in university settings
into their classroom activities. As part of the long-term partnership
arrangements, university undergraduate/graduate students will partner with
pre-college/community college faculty in their classrooms during the
academic year to help teach engineering/computer science concepts.

Awards for site proposals can be up to $600,000 over 3 years; supplement
requests to existing ENG and CISE awards can be up to $10,000 over 1 year.
Site proposals are due April 8.

c) *Broadening Participation in Engineering (BPE)* (
http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=504870):

The Broadening Participation in Engineering program is interested in
reviewing projects that will address how to achieve significant increases
in the participation and professional success, leading to improved
retention of under-represented ethnic/racial minorities within the ranks of
our engineering faculties. Of particular interest are projects that
increase our understanding of the inherent challenges faced by members of
underrepresented ethnic and racial groups in the attainment of engineering
doctoral degrees and achieving success as an early career engineering
faculty member.

No funding amounts are listed. There is a full proposal target date of
April 10: "It is strongly recommended that full proposals be submitted to
the Broadening Participation in Engineering program (14-7680) prior to
April 10, 2015 to enable full consideration of the proposed project for FY
2015 funding."

2) The College of Education and Human Ecology's *A Little Goes A Long Way
Student Mini-Grants* (
https://eheosu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_cZ33qEhFN4VzDkp) support
student-led out-of-school positive youth development activities outreach &
engagement projects. All undergraduate and graduate Ohio State students are
invited to submit proposals with at least one College of Education and
Human Ecology student as part of an interdisciplinary team promoting
collaboration among colleges, departments and disciplines.

Grants are for up to $4000 for the funding period April 1, 2015 through
April 1, 2016. Proposals are due February 17.
