Sociolinguistics and the Study of Everyday Language

Wednesday, November 7th 11am-1:30pm

Please join the OSU Folklore Student association for our first event of 
the year! Sociolinguistics professors Drs. Galey
Modan, Lauren Squires and Kristy Fagersten will share their research and 
explore the social role of language in the
construction of the everyday. Dr. Amy Shuman will provide the opening 
remarks and Dr. Dorry Noyes will give the closing
words. 

Coffee/tea and brunch will be provided. 

The FSA welcomes graduate and undergraduate students interested in 
vernacular culture as members or occasional participants.
