[Somean] Squires material

Galey reminds me that our theme this week coincides perfectly with the 
work of Lauren Squires, one of the sociolingustics candidates in English. 
Her talk is this coming Monday at 3:30 in Denney 311 (am I correct about 
the room, Galey?) and will be, I believe, on her dissertation work.  Her
