[Sc-aquaponics] aquaponics educator workshop

Hi All,
Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant and Michigan Sea Grant are co-hosting an aquaculture workshop for formal and informal educators this June 26-27 at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Please see below for details and share with anyone you think might be interested.

Who: Formal and non-formal educators who intend to utilize aquaculture or aquaponics in their education programs.

When: June 26th, 1pm to 6pm; June 27th, 8am to 4:30pm ET. Optional pre-tour June 26th, 10:30-11:30am.

Where: Purdue University - John S Wright Forestry Center 1007 N 725 West Lafayette, IN 47906

What: This workshop will equip science teachers to have a baseline understanding of aquaculture and aquaponics to take back to their classrooms. Attendees can expect to tour aquaculture facilities, hear presentations, complete hands-on labs, and build their own mini aquaponics systems to take home! Educators will receive a $250 stipend to spend on travel expenses or classroom equipment. Please do not register unless you are fully committed to attending the full workshop as space is limited!
