Today at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Dr. Carole Engle will present a free webinar entitled: Aquaculture Farm Financial Management During the Pandemic.

Description:
Aquaculture producers and allied businesses face a host of difficult decisions as a result of the severe cash deficits that they are experiencing with the closure of restaurants and other key markets. Hosted by the National Aquaculture Association and NOAA Sea Grant, the webinar will present some practical considerations and suggestions related to managing cash flow difficulties on aquaculture farms and businesses.  Dr. Engle and the webinar hosts have committed to remain “on the air” until everyone’s questions are answered.

Dr. Engle has worked with aquaculture producers across the U.S. through her former land-grant university research and extension responsibilities and continues to do so in retirement through a consulting company Engle-Stone Aquatic$ LLC and as adjunct faculty of the Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center, Virginia Tech University, and as a member of the National Sea Grant Advisory Board.

Participants will register to enter the webinar.  After the webinar, they will receive, via email, a copy of the presentation and fact sheet that includes links to the programs and publications described during the presentation.
