Dear Prof Panda,
This is Naveen Bhatt from Revati's Team.
We have downloaded and configured the HiBD Libraries on 3 Node cluster in our Lab. We are able to run to TCP/IP mode, but for IB mode we are getting below error:
ibv_create_srq() failed
at line 223 in file ucr_init.c

data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
scheduling priority (-e) 0
file size (blocks, -f) unlimited

After doing search over internet we found similar issue raised by some other user, which is still not resolved/responded in the thread. Below is the address for your reference please:

Looking forward for your advise in this matter.

Thanks for the call we had yesterday. Let me know when you would like to have the webinar/presentation to your team members. Accordingly, we can plan things in advance.
Based on the discussion, please feel free to take a look at the following URLs:
1. MVAPICH2, including support for Intel KNL and Omni-Path (http://mvapich.cse.ohio-state.edu)
2. HPC + HPDA - http://hibd.cse.ohio-state.edu
3. High-Performance Deep Learning (combining HPC with Deep Learning) - http://hidl.cse.ohio-state.edu
Please feel free to forward this information to others who were in the call yesterday.
Thanks,
DK

Hi,
I have booked a number from the `FreeConference' site for the call tomorrow (March 23rd 10:30 am (EST)/8:00 pm (IST)). As you might be knowing, most of the times, US conference calls are done through this site.
Here are the details.
+1-605-475-6333
Passcode - 774857
I am assuming that both of you will be able to call this number from India. I have not tried it from India before.
Alternatively, if TCS has a better audio conference provision spanning US-India, please send me the number.
Looking forward to talking with you tomorrow.
Thanks,
DK

Dear Manoj and Revati,
Thanks for your reply. I am involved in a large-scale proposal submission on March 22nd. So, this day will not work out. However, we can aim to sync-up on March 23rd. I have the following time slots available on March 23rd:
- 10:30 am (USA/EST)/8:00pm (India/IST)
- 1:00 pm (USA/EST)/10:30pm (India/IST)
These timings are a little late in the evening in India. Please let me know if any of these slots will work out. If these will be inconvenient, we can aim for some other time slots.
Please advise.
Thanks,
DK

Subject: Fwd: Formal support, services and training for MVAPICH2, HiBD and HiDL Libraries
Dear Manoj,
Hope things are going fine at your end.
If you remember, during SC '16, I was indicating about some arrangements being made to provide `formal support, services and training' for MVAPICH2 and related libraries.
Here is an introductory e-mail from X-ScaleSolutions which myself and some of my colleagues have formed. The primary objectives here are to provide `formal support, services and training' for software libraries available from OSU. This includes all different versions of the MVAPICH2 libraries, HiBD libraries (RDMA-Hadoop, RDMA-Spark, RDMA-Memcached, and RDMA-HBase), and the new S-Caffe Deep Learning libraries.
More details are available from
http://x-scalesolutions.com
If such formal support, services and training will be helpful to TCS and its customers, we can discuss further. Let me know your thoughts.
Please feel free to pass on this information to all relevant folks.
Please feel free to contact me at the e-mail address specified here (instead of the standard OSU address as this will lead to COI).
Thanks,
DK
