[Prep Lab Students] 2025 Ohio Science Olympiad- Volunteers Needed

Welcome back!

We need volunteers for the Ohio Science Olympiad State Tournament<https://ohso.osu.edu/tournaments/state> that will be held on Saturday, April 26th. Chemistry and Biochemistry will host 4 events on the second floor of Celeste:

Morning (7:15am-noon):
Middle School- Crime Busters (Event Supervisors: Dr. Opoku & Nadia Pokrajac)
High School- Forensics (Event Supervisors: Dr. Fontes & Matt Gray)

Afternoon (noon-5ish):
Middle School- Potions & Poisons (Event Supervisors: Dr. Sarah, Lynda Reynolds, Emma)
High School- Chemistry Lab (Event Supervisor: Dr. Jackman)

If you decide to volunteer, you will help us with proctoring, grading, swapping out lab materials between sessions, and quick clean up at the end of the event.

For your participation, you will receive a free T-shirt, a boxed lunch (usually a sandwich, chips, and a cookie), and get to spend part of a Saturday with Tyler, Dr. Sarah, Emma, Dr. Fontes, Dr. Opoku, Dr. Jackman and others in Celeste!
