Hello CBC,



Our department’s first Safety Olympics will be held on July 24th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  The event is hosted by the Joint Safety Team and the Safety Office and is for Chemistry and Biochemistry PIs, Staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students.  We will start in MP 1015 and proceed to Celeste labs for the events/games. We will have a closing ceremony in MP 1015 at 3:00 pm to conclude the event with a top Safety Olympic winner and some raffle prizes.



Our Olympic Safety Events include:  What is wrong lab?, Safety trivia, a fire extinguisher event, and a PPE relay.



If you are interested in participating, we ask that you wear proper lab attire.  Find a buddy and get ready for some safety fun.
