Hello CBC,



Our department?s first Safety Olympics will be held on July 24th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  The event is hosted by the Joint Safety Team and the Safety Office and is for Chemistry and Biochemistry PIs, Staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students.  We will start in MP 1015 and proceed to Celeste labs for the events/games. We will have a closing ceremony in MP 1015 at 3:00 pm to conclude the event with a top Safety Olympic winner and some raffle prizes.



Our Olympic Safety Events include:  What is wrong lab?, Safety trivia, a fire extinguisher event, and a PPE relay.



If you are interested in participating, we ask that you wear proper lab attire.  Find a buddy and get ready for some safety fun. Good evening CBC,



Just a reminder that CBC?s first Safety Olympics will be tomorrow, July 24th at 1:00 pm.  We will start in MP 1015 and go over to Celeste for the Events.  We will return to MP 1015 for the Safety Olympics Closing ceremony.  Where we will award prizes for the top overall winners to the event.  The JST will also hold the raffle for the Safety Moment T-shirt giveaway.



We can?t wait to see everyone.  Below is a picture of some of the prizes for the event.
