[Preplabstudents] Fall 2024 Prep Lab Training

Hi Everyone!

I have attached a tentative schedule for our training week (8/12-8/16). As a reminder, all time spent on training items is paid time. Be sure to include this in your timesheet<https://admin.resources.osu.edu/workday/workday-for-employees/time-entry-processes>.

You should plan to complete the “Lab Standard,” “Fire Extinguisher,” and “BEAP” online training modules on your own by 11:59 pm on Monday 8/12. Returning students can work on this at any time and submit their time. New students will need to wait until their official start date.

Monday 8/12- Anyone able to physically be present is required to attend the two sessions scheduled for the day. Those that are not able to physically be present but are able to join via Zoom should reach out to me. Anyone that misses these sessions will need to complete a digital make up at a later date.

Lab Attire- You do not need to wear lab attire on the 12th but will need lab attire every other day. You are welcome to store socks, scrub pants, sweatpants, etc. in your prep lab PPE basket.

We still have some spots that need filling in the schedule (see Teams). If you have not yet scheduled your hours for the fall, please do so ASAP. If you are able to pick up any of the hours that still need filling, please request them in Teams.

If you are new and aren’t in the prep lab GroupMe. Please add yourself by navigating to go.osu.edu/preplabgroupme.
