Hi everyone,

I have gotten several questions about various topics. We thought it would be helpful to share the responses with everyone.

When does prep lab training start?

Training will start on August 14th. We don’t have the schedule finalized quite yet, but we do know we will have events planned throughout the week. A detailed schedule will be sent out in a few weeks.

Should I plan to wear lab attire?

Yes. Please plan to wear lab appropriate attire all of training week. You will be given a basket to keep your Department owned lab coat and goggles in. You are welcome to keep a pair of scrub bottoms, sweatpants, socks, etc. in this basket as well.

What should I do if I’ll be missing one or multiple days of training?

We’ll be tracking everyone’s completion of all training tasks. Anything that is missed will need to be made up at the earliest opportunity.

I need to make an adjustment to my schedule…. What can I do?

If you need to adjust your schedule, please let me know ASAP. We have a lot of openings left on Wednesday and Friday mornings. If you can find it in your heart to take some of those slots, it would be greatly appreciated.
