[Preplabstudents] Week 5

Hi All,

Next week is week 5!

Looking for more hours? We still need some help during the following time slots:

Monday 7:30am-9am
Tuesday 6pm-10pm
Wednesday 7:30am-9am
Wednesday 3pm-6pm
Friday 7:30am-11am

We have several window reminders:


  *   Be sure to complete any necessary cart moves during your shift. Look at the daily sheet or cart move sheets to see if any cart moves are required.
  *   Be sure to check the daily sheet or cart move sheet when determining which moves to make. Some may not be obvious just looking at the lab map.
  *   The keys to the spectrometer cabinets are in the windows. They are silver. One of the two silver keys should work for any mobile cabinet you need to open.
  *   The equipment for the upcoming experiment is stored on the large steel shelf in the back of each window or on the bench. Alec put up some signage with red lettering. If you need something for a new experiment and can’t find it, check the shelf and bench first.

The online Prep Lab Guidebook Acknowledgement/Quiz<https://osu.instructure.com/courses/49925/quizzes/761152?module_item_id=8691787> is now available on the Prep Lab Forum. Please complete this by the end of the month.

Please also double check the Prep Lab Forum to see if you have any outstanding “assignments.” Complete any outstanding assignments as soon as you are able. Again, time spent completing these is paid time for those that submit timesheets.

Finally, I want to everyone to know that I’m seeing great progress. We have come a long way in about a month. Let’s keep up the good work!
