Hello Everyone,

I hope you had a safe and restful break!

This is a lengthy email, but it contains several policy reminders and changes which are effective immediately. Please be sure to read this message in its entirety.


  1.  Employees are required to arrive at the time listed on the schedule. Repeat tardiness will necessitate a discussion with me. Please review your listed times on the Sp22 Student Schedule.xlsx<https://buckeyemailosu.sharepoint.com/:x:/s/GeneralChemistryPrepLab/ETy70W4Fg3VEh3Kpd69sSnMBQrbK76wffxZRhINkHSl-JQ?e=2QAbLM>, let me know if we need to make any adjustments.
  2.  You will no longer need to sign in and out on paper. Please only use the timesheet function on Workday.
  3.  Weekly time sheets should be submitted no later than noon the following Monday.
  4.  All HR/scheduling questions and concerns should be sent directly to me. Moving forward, I will be approving all timesheets.
  5.  Emails about last minute absences should be sent to the prep lab staff email list (preplabstaff at osu.edu<mailto:preplabstaff at osu.edu>). This will inform all necessary parties.
  6.  Each student will be provided with two name badges. One to wear on their lab coat, and one to wear when not using their lab coat. Let us know if you would like the name to be adjusted. (We ran out of label tape before break, so the rest of the badges will be made on Monday).
