[Preplabstudents] Classes Start Tomorrow!

Hello Everyone,

Ready or not, here they come….Classes start tomorrow!

Please make it a goal to have all of your training (in-person and online) done by the end of the week. Everyone, new and returning employees (including undergrads and grad students), must recomplete all training requirements each year. Lots of things have changed, and we want to be sure everyone is updated. You can see the list of remaining items you need to complete on the Prep Lab Forum (https://osu.instructure.com/courses/49925). Some of you still need to sign items on your paper record. These are on the upper portion of Alec’s desk.

A make-up activity for the safety coordinator’s talk is TBD. The link to sign up for the fire extinguisher practice is: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0544a9ae2da2fc1-electronic Please let me know if you are unable to make it to any of the open sessions.

If you have not done so already, please join the Prep Lab GroupMe (go.osu.edu/preplabgroupme).

Be sure you have submitted your timesheet from last week, if applicable. Let Linda, MJ, Alec, or myself know if you need assistance with your timesheet.

Some of you may be assigned to the window. Don’t worry ☺ We will try to make sure you are paired with a returner so that they can show you the ropes. The staff will also be around to assist. As of this afternoon, only 1610 and 1910H have bound copies of the lab manual that will be passed out. The other courses will receive stapled copies of this week’s lab that were printed in house. All courses will receive notebook pages for this week’s lab. We hope the bound copies of the lab manuals for the other courses come in this week.
