I am happy to announce that OCIO has
completed the deployment of
OSU Wireless throughout the Physics Research Building (PRB). You
should, therefore, be able to see and connect to OSU Wireless
anywhere
in the building. If you find a location with poor or no
coverage,
please let us know ASAP via email to action@physics.osu.edu.

Now that coverage is complete, all
non-OCIO wireless access
points must be removed immediately. These extra
wireless devices
create channel interference with official devices, and they also
present a number of serious network security problems. Please
remove all such devices immediately. Any non-OCIO access points
still active after October 20, 2017 will be located and
disconnected from the network by ASCTech or OCIO staff.
Information on using OSU Wireless is here:
When connected to OSU Wireless, to connect to Physics Windows
file shares, or to SSH to Physics Unix hosts, you must use the ASC
VPN, which requires using BuckeyePass (DUO) authentication:
SSH users may alternatively use the jump host (also requires
BuckeyePass):
