Message from Safety and Infrastructure Committee - Requesting all Physics Dept Employees complete HazCom training

This message is sent on behalf of the Safety and Infrastructure Committee:

The S+I Committee expresses thanks to the many department members who completed BEAP training in response to the e-mail request of 08-APR-2020.

The Committee now requests all department employees please complete the Hazard Communication training module.

The training takes 20-30 minutes to complete and is considered a mandatory one-time training for all department employees.

The training provides an overview of the University's Hazardous Communication Program.

The Physics Department HazCom program can be found at the Safety section<https://physics.osu.edu/faculty-staff> of the department website or direct link here<http://physics.osu.edu/sites/default/files/2020-05/physics_department_hazard_communication_program.pdf>.

The training module is located under the Occupational Health and Safety Training section of the EHS website linked here<https://ehs.osu.edu/occupational-health-and-safety-training> or via BuckeyeLearn.

On the EHS site, scroll down the alphabetized list to the Hazard Communication (CFR 1910.1200) training module as seen in the screen grab below and click on "Take This Course".
