Message regarding the University and Departmental response to COVID-19

•      The Executive Dean has reported that, “Students will be paid despite the changes that are occurring in the context of this COVID-19 situation.  All GRAs, GTAs and undergraduate work study students will continue to be paid, whether or not they can come in to their usual workplace.  More guidance will be forthcoming.”

•      BEWARE of COVID-19 phishing messages. Universities in the state have been experiencing phishing attempts centered around COVID-19. These have led to possible ransomware attacks.  Please be cautious and attentive.

•      University Central HR will be putting out information about issues like telecommuting and other forms of workplace accommodations.  That guidance is expected later today.

•      All events surrounding the sesquicentennial celebration on March 21 have been canceled.
