Message for Physics Dept Members Anticipating Deliveries to PRB

If you are a member of the Physics Department anticipating a delivery to the PRB, please read on.

Receiving Update:

As directed by the Department and beginning a few days ago, Central Receiving started bringing over items that had been delivered to the Kenny Rd location over the past many weeks but held there.

In addition to bringing these held items, Central Receiving is now bringing new deliveries at a normal pace, reports they are at full staff levels, and reports they have swipe card access to PRB as of Tuesday.

The attached photo set shows everything that was received on Tuesday and Wednesday and includes significant amounts of PPE. More items arrived today and are not yet catalogued.

An interim receiving process is under development and is expected to be ready before Stage 3 reopening.

Details on this interim process will follow later, but preliminary ideas include designating a locked room where delivered items can be staged and retrieval can be made in a contactless and self-serve mode.

It is understood that many groups are eager to confirm their PPE has arrived and the attached photo set seemed the fastest way to share an update of the past few days.

Apologies for the file size of the attachment and for only having rough package label data to share by photo.

There is not capacity on site to locate every item that may have been delivered so please wait for information to come and only make inquiries about items of critical importance or items that are perishable.
