Hi Everyone,

At the end of last week I received an email from our divisional Dean, Susan Olesik, that there are reports of noncompliance in some buildings with respect to wearing masks.

The good news is that none of these are coming from PRB. However, I cannot emphasize enough that we must remain committed to following our safety procedures.

My sense from the college is that as long as we keep transmission to a very low level, the labs will remain open. Our safety measures are designed to do this as long as we all work together and everyone continues to follow all of our safety procedures. Here is a link to our safety documents: https://physics.osu.edu/COVID

I am very proud of how we restarted our labs and have been committed to our safety procedures.

Let’s be sure we continue to focus on safety through these challenging times.

Thank you!

Michael
