CORRECTION: Nuclear Physics Seminar is WEDNESDAY 2:30. Schedule has openings- It is about Quantum Computing

Please see an important correction to the email just sent.  The Nuclear Physics Seminar is on Wednesday, 3/6 at 2:30 (not Tuesday).  The speaker arrives on Tuesday and many time slots are still open tomorrow and a few on Wednesday. Please email Xilin Zhang if you can meet with the speaker.
The speaker is Dr. Pavel Lougovski and his talk is on  "Quantum Computing and Subatomic Physics: State of the Art, Challenges and Prospects."

Dear all,



Wednesday afternoon, we will have a seminar held about quantum computing in nuclear physics. The speaker,  Dr. Pavel Lougovski, specializes in quantum information and is from Oak Ridge National Lab (https://www.ornl.gov/staff-profile/pavel-lougovski). The talk will start at 2:30 PM at room 4138 PRB. Note the time is different from the nuclear physics seminar's routine schedule!
