Is this course replacing Biophysics 6702 or in addition to it? The two courses seem to have overlapping topics.

Subject: [Biophysics] Course Announcement for Spring 2020 - Special Topics in Biophysics 8809.01
Dear all,
I will teach the special topics in biophysics course (8809.01) next semester.
This course is designed to give students a good understanding of modern biophysical techniques while keeping the focus on contemporary biological problems. The topics will include live cell microscopy (diffraction limited and super-resolved), single bio-molecule imaging and manipulation techniques and cellular electrophysiology. The course consists of lectures, discussion sessions and student presentations. The overall goal is to strengthen students' ability to approach emerging biological questions with relevant methods. Students with backgrounds in biology, chemistry, and physics are equally encouraged to enroll. The course materials are research papers and will be assigned bi-weekly.
The class will meet at Bolz Hall 316 each Wednesday and Friday, 12:45-02:05 PM.
Best,
Comert
