[NEWS] Grease Pit Cleaning In Vicinity - Foul Odors Present

[Physics facility information]

Some occupants have reported foul odors present in the building to various degrees and at various locations and times within the PRB.

The odors are coming from clean-out efforts at grease pits near the dining facility north and east of the PRB across Woodruff.

Intake air for a portion of the building enters from the large area well just north of the patio.

This location allows some of the odors present outside to enter the building.

Occupants may recall this clean out effort occurs periodically and was last done in October of '16

>From past EHS advisories, it is understood that the odors are considered non-hazardous.
