Seminar (April 9) + Colloquium (April 10) by Roger Melko

Dear all,
Roger Melko from University of Waterloo and Perimeter Institute Canada will
give two talks next week:

(1) Monday April 9 at 2:30 pm in PRB 4138 a seminar on *quantum
entanglement* [black board talk so you can be assured of high information
transfer!] (see abstract below)
(2) Colloquium on Tuesday April 10 at 3:30 pm in Smith Seminar Room on*
machine learning* for many body physics.

Hope you will all take advantage of both of these talks on some of the most
exciting topics of our times that clearly cut across the narrow confines of
our disciplines. I can assure you that Roger Melko is an excellent speaker
with good communication skills.

If you would like to be on his schedule for Monday or Tuesday, please let
me know. Even if you see a person in the slot you want, please let me know.
There is flexibility in the schedule.
