CCAPP Event: Remembering Gary Steigman

Dear Colleagues,

As many of you know, our colleague and friend Professor Gary Steigman passed away earlier this year.  His obituary in the New York Times is posted at https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/27/science/space/gary-steigman-died-big-bang-astrophysicist.html?_r=1 .

To honor Gary’s contributions at Ohio State and to recognize his role in the field of cosmology and particle astrophysics, the Ohio State Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP) will host a one-day symposium.

The Ohio State University Remembers Gary Steigman
                Wednesday 15 November, 2017
                Bob Scherrer (Vanderbilt), Keith Olive (Minnesota), and Michael Turner (Chicago) will give colloquium-style talks
