[ALERT] Life Safety System Inspections - Brief Air Handler Shutdowns Required

Code-Required / Mandatory Annual Life Safety Inspections will be done at the PRB next week on Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th.

During this time, fire detection and notification systems and related system interlocks will be exercised.

On Tuesday the 14th between 7:00 am and 9:00 am, in-duct smoke detectors serving each of the four air handlers will be tested and will cause a brief air handler shutdown (5 minutes or less) for each system.

This test serves to verify that the in-duct smoke sensor interlock triggers the correct shut down response at the air handler.

In addition to this notice, signage announcing this event will be posted at building entrances.
