Save the date: OSU remembers Gary Steigman

Hi all,

As many of you know, Gary Steigman passed away earlier this year.  To honor Gary’s contributions to both the Astronomy and Physics Departments and to recognize his role in modern cosmology and particle-astrophysics, CCAPP will host a one day symposium on Wednesday Nov. 15.  Expect a trio of morning talks highlighting Gary’s nearly 50-year career along with an extended coffee break for reminiscing.  The talks will be aimed at general audiences.  Everyone is welcome.
