Folks,

Campus campaign 2017 is winding down, but you still have time to make a contribution to a fund on campus where your passions lie.  If you want more information or help with making a gift or a pledge, please see Katie Ferrell in the Vernier Commons tomorrow (Friday) morning from 8-10 am for a cup of coffee or soda and answers to your questions.  Physics is lagging behind Astronomy and Chemistry.  We can't let them beat us.

Participation is the key in this fundraising drive.  Even a small amount counts and can make a big difference.

Consider how you can be a part of world-class research, scholarships, assistance to other staff, etc.  There are thousands of funds to choose from.  Choose one or more and make your pledge now. (One time gifts are also cheerfully accepted).607394

In physics, the chair's discretionary fund helps to fund the Winter Party, the Annual Picnic and other events in the department (302325), contributing to undergraduate and graduate scholarship funds directly impact our students.  We are always needing more funding to provide summer research experiences for undergraduates (607394) and our award winning Bridge program for underrepresented minorities (315288).
