Gordon Aubrecht

   Dear all,

     I learned this morning that Gordon Aubrecht passed away yesterday
afternoon at his home.  The family is planning a green burial Wednesday at
noon in Gambier, Ohio.  We are attempting to get more details and will pass
those along when we have them.   Gordon was an active and engaged faculty
member both here and in Marion.  He was a long serving member of the
University Senate and a constant advocate for academic freedom and shared
governance.  He will be missed.
