Hello Physics,
If you are enrolled in one of Ohio State’s health insurance plans, excluding student health insurance, this is a friendly reminder that the last day of Open Enrollment to make changes for 2017 is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
If you are not making any changes, you don’t need to take any action. However, I would encourage anyone who is enrolled to review the changes because each plan has been revised for 2017. A few important changes to note, the university will now have a preferred pharmacy program, enhanced vision options, as well as other changes to deductibles for each plan. The university is also starting a new program called health reimbursement accounts (HRA) which will operate similarly to Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You will be able to earn points that can be used for cash in your doctor’s office.
For more information about the new plans or to see if your current pharmacy will be on the preferred pharmacy list, please visit https://hr.osu.edu/oe/ or see the links below.
Thanks!
