[ALERT] Steam Shutdown Thursday November 3rd for Reboiler repair in PRB - Message 2 of 2

[Physics facility information]

As previously announced last week, FOD has identified a significant leak in the steam reboiler system and plans to shut down the system for repairs Thursday - November 3rd. (tomorrow)

The reboiler system provides steam for humidification purposes and heat energy for domestic hot water at sinks.

Research groups with high sensitivity to humidity levels or humidity fluctuations are asked to align their work plans with this necessary outage.

The work is expected to take the full daytime maintenance shift (7:00 to 3:30) to complete.
